Adventures in Cancerland

March 12, 2017 by Elizabeth Wiseman

Almost a month ago today, I learned that I had breast cancer. I’m in a rare situation of having cancer and living with my husband, Dan, who has treated it for thirty years. He’s a radiation oncologist.  I’m a doctor too but not the kind who makes much money. I have a PhD in 19th century lit. so you might see a lot of 19th century quotations here. I am also the mother of three grown children (David, Elizabeth and Matt)  with three terrific partners (respectively Paige, Daniel and Audrey) and the grandmother of two babies—Madeline (2) and Henry .

Thank you for joining us.
